Nowadays, it's just as important for men to look and feel their best when stripping down to their swimwear, just like it is for women.

Length - Length is important when it comes to swim shorts. The most flattering length for your swim shorts is two inches above your knee. There's nothing worse than shorter men having too long shorts for their legs and vice versa!

With the exciting launch of Pour Moi at Knicker Locker this February 2020, we thought it's only fair that we delve into the Pour Moi story and tell you guys a bit more about the brand and their lingerie and swimwear collections.

Pour Moi is renowned for offering fuller figure lingerie and swimwear up to a J cup at affordable prices for the everyday woman. Their extensive range offers women with different body shapes beautiful and colourful bras, knickers, chemises, bikinis, swimsuits and beachwear that they can feel fashionable and supported in.

A little bit of Pour Moi History...

When Pour Moi first launched, it was in a tiny office shop in Macclesfield, Cheshire, with two staff members that believed woman shouldn't have to overpay for good-fitting lingerie, no matter their bra size. Pour Moi founder, Michael Thomson juggled full time work whilst setting up the Pour Moi brand on the side. He even admits to selling his autograph collection to pay for the launch of Pour Moi.

More than a decade on from selling its first bra, Pour Moi move to Brighton, whilst keeping the warehouse in Macclesfiend, where all the lingerie, swimwear, nightwear and hosiery is designed by their creative team. They take care of the whole process, from design to delivery which their prices can be kept super-affordable.

In 2007, Pour Moi introduced swimwear to their range, with cup sized bikinis that actually looked like bikinis rather than bras. It was a hit straight away with Pour Moi becoming the first full cup swimwear brand to be sold on ASOS in 2009.

With their lingerie and swimwear doing extremely well, the brands new focus was to introduce J cups, which took a lot of time and effort. But eventually people started calling the Amour bra a 'boob job bra' because of the shape it gave. With no padding, it is triple lined and very supportive.

Pour Moi also added sports bras in 2017, followed by beachwear in 2019.

2019 was a special year for Pour Moi, whereby their bought LF Intimates, home of Charnos and Lepel lingerie, to expand their portfolio with different target customers. Their focus now is to create exciting new product categories and retail opportunities whilst keeping the brands core philosophy, "To create fabulous lingerie, swimwear and nightwear for everybody."

As you may already know reading this, in January 2019, Pour Moi took over LF Intimates including the brands Lepel and Charnos, where their mission has been to revive both brands continuity lines as well as introducing new fashion lines.

With the Lepel lingerie on par with the Pour Moi bra shapes and styles, Pour Moi have decided that instead of having two separate brands that are similar, they would merge Lepel ranges into the Pour Moi brand. Knicker Locker will be showcasing their first range in Autumn/Winter 2020, with Fiore Forever, that is stunning are update on the Lepel Fiore collection that every woman loves.
